JOHN DEEDS

Johnny advises clients in all areas of state and local tax, including property, sales, and income tax matters.

He understands that there is more than one way to solve an issue and uses his extensive background in state and local tax to find innovative solutions for his clients.

State and Local Tax Representation: Johnny has successfully represented clients before administrative tribunals, as well as state and federal courts. He represents a range of clients, including individuals, business, and nonprofit organizations in many jurisdictions throughout the Mountain West.

Government Affairs Advisor: During college, Johnny clerked for the Utah Speaker of the House and developed a love and interest in the legislative process. He has coupled that passion with his tax experience to help craft sound tax policy and support his clients' needs.

Prior to joining Crapo Deeds PLLC, Johnny practiced at Holland & Hart. He has also worked as a law Clerk in the Tax and Revenue Division of the Utah Attorney General's Office.
